A few years back, when Disney bought Marvel, I got a little excited and thought it would be soooo cool if there was a comic where Disney Princesses fought the Marvel “Princesses”. So inspired by this thought I would give a go at making this “scene”. I started right away by giving the princesses comic-book inspired abilities so that they would at least stand a chance against Marvel’s powerhouses. One by one, I picked my favorite princesses and gave them comic-book-like origins… A lot of you have seen them. This is part of a commission I did recently… pretty obvious here, it’s my take on a female Thor costume inspired mostly on the MCU version of the costume (mostly)
And here it is! Our Piece de Resistance if you will. (At least for our Save the Dates!) We’ve titled our wedding “Only One in the Universe” because we believe there is no one else more perfect for each of us, even throughout the farthest reaches of the universe.

I haven’t been this excited about posting/sharing a video in such a long time. But here is the entire reason I haven’t been able to do anything in about a month… not even draw… sheesh… but I gotta be honest.. It was well worth it.
But anyway, here is our sci-fi adventure inspired wedding trailer featuring me and my soon to be bride Beth, and our Council of Matrimony, otherwise known as the DoomsMen (Groom’s Side) and the BridesBabes (Bride’s Side), as well as the Curators of our wedding who are co-officiating.
If there is one thing to know about me, when it comes to romantic gestures… there’s only one way i know how to do it….Theatrically? That’s a word right? Yes. Tumblr didn’t correct me.
Our Save The Dates finally went out on Wednesday of this week! Family and friends have started to get theirs. And while we can’t invite everyone we know (or don’t know for that matter) we really wanted to share this with everyone and I literally cannot keep Steevin from posting the fruits of our labour any longer!
So here are our Save the Date post cards that were sent. Photo taken by Jonathan Lewis and edited by Steevin himself. As you can see we have taken an “Epic Sci-Fi Adventure” approach and has a bit of a Firefly feel in our clothing. And you fellow Whovians can see a bit of Gallifreyan inspired art in the corners of the page in the back site of the postcard. :D I quite literally love how these turned out! (Stay Tuned for the Video!!)

I’ve had my photo on Marvel’s website before for being dressed as Nick Fury… and that was pretty cool.
And this isn’t THAT BIG of Deal… But when they mention two pieces of my artwork (2!!!!!) out of all the amazing stuff on welovefine.com I can’t help but squeal like the littlest school girl… If you knew me well enough, you’d know that there are very few things that make me show “excitement” this was a pretty cool feeling.
